Company Profile:

Our client is a fast growing business process outsourcing (BPO) company headquartered in New York City, with its operations center in Qingdao, China. They provide back office remote staffing services to U.S. companies in the insurance industry.

Their sales, marketing, and client integration are handled from our New York office while their Qingdao staff connects remotely to their clients’ systems to function as a part of the client’s production team.

Currently the Qingdao branch has 50 clients and 300 employees and is adding among 10 to 20 employees each month. Recently named a “Rising Star” and one of the 100 Top Global Outsourcing Companies by the international Outsourcing Association, they expect to have over 75 clients and 400 employees by the end of 2009.

Internship Description:

The intern is supposed to improve and develop various Homepages for our client, Next to regular programming work, Databases have to be build up.

The intern will be provided with a computer with all relevant software (English software).

Requirements:

• To be majored in Informatics/ Computer science
• To have a very good command of English (English native speakers are preferred)
• To have a good command of C++, Java, HTML
• To have basic MS-Office skills
• Basic database knowledge is preferred

Start: asap
Duration: 1-6 months
Location: Qingdao, China
Salary: for a full-time intern for at least 3 months, 1000RMB/month
